FPSO Redeployment – Strategic Technical Support in Mexican Waters
In 2023, KC OCEAN provided strategic technical support and management for the redeployment of a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) unit across various offshore sites in Mexico. Working with Altera, we leveraged our extensive reach across major maritime hubs to facilitate a safe and efficient transition for these critical assets. This project highlights our ability to manage complex maritime deployments in a fragmented energy industry while maintaining a primary focus on asset integrity and operational reliability.
Our role involved navigating the complexities of the Mexican regulatory framework and overcoming operational hazards to ensure seamless integration at each new location. By drawing on nineteen years of experience and our North Sea maritime heritage, we delivered “Services of Excellence” that prioritized safety in all we do. This project exemplifies our mission to connect opportunity with capacity, unlocking significant Ocean Space Value for our clients and operators.
The success of this redeployment was backed by our DNV-certified management systems and a zero-tolerance policy for corruption and environmental crime.
