FSO Newbuild – Strategic Support for the Trion Field
In 2022, KC OCEAN provided strategic support for the FSO Newbuild project, a critical asset specifically designed for operations in the Trion field. Working alongside our customer, Altera, and the operator, Woodside, we applied our nineteen years of industry-specific insight to ensure the successful development of this Floating Storage and Offloading unit. This project highlights our ability to deliver high-value technology and operational expertise in complex deepwater environments.
Our mission is to connect opportunity with capacity to unlock Ocean Space Value. By leveraging our North Sea maritime heritage and safety focus, we helped navigate the regulatory framework complexity and operational hazards inherent in the Mexican energy sector. KC OCEAN’s involvement ensured that international best practices were integrated into the project, providing the safe and efficient “Services of Excellence” that the national and international oil industry requires.
The project was executed by our interdisciplinary, multi-cultural teams, providing world-class execution capacity from concept to deployment. Backed by DNV-certified management systems, we prioritized Environment, Health, Safety, and Quality in every phase of the newbuild process.
